The nervous system and the spine, what's the
connection?
Nervous tissue is very delicate tissue. Luckily, your brain is
encased in a hard protective case (your skull) to protect it. Your
brain then extends into your vertebral column or spine, which is
composed of 24 moveable bones, and becomes your spinal cord.
Over your life you have accidents and injuries that tear loose the
connective tissue that holds your spine together. This creates a
weakness in the spine and allows it to break down and lock in a
stressed position. A subluxated (or out of place) spine and affects
the very delicate nervous tissue that travels through it, thus
causing dis-function in the body.

How do I know if I have a subluxated (out of place)
spine?
A Subluxated Spine shows up as Body Imbalance. Body imbalance is
determined by leg length disparity, and postural measurements of the
hips and shoulders. It
is possible to have a Subluxated Spine and not know it. Like the
early stages of tooth decay or cancer, subluxations can be present
before warning signs appear.

How long until I feel better?
Our average patient will experience some relief by the 4th
week of care. 50% of our patients notice some relief in their
symptoms the same day as their initial correction. 90% of our
practice members can feel a difference in their posture the same day
as the initial correction. Many factors are involved with you
feeling better, including:

- How long you have had the condition.
- What other treatments you have had.
